About Wes

Wes Culver was raised on a duck farm in the 49th District of Elkhart County. After graduating from Northridge High School in Middlebury, Wes went on to earn his degree in business administration. It was while in college that Wes met his wife, Val.

No stranger to business, Wes was raised in a family business where his parents taught him the value of hard work, personal responsibility, family, frugality and service to others. Values that exemplify the citizens of the 49th District.

While pursuing a successful business career, Wes has constantly sought other ways to serve others through numerous church, para-church, and social service agencies.

Wes and Val have four children. Craig, a 2007 graduate of Indiana University, is becoming an integral part of the family businesses. Chelsea, a graduate of Goshen High School, is currently a freshman at Ball State. The Culver family recently traveled to China where they adopted the newest and youngest Culver, two-year old Cydney. Our hearts go out to the entire family for the loss of their oldest son, Chad, who passed away from injuries sustained in a motorcycle accident in 2002.
